I have to express my sheer dissappointment when I discovered that some nutters calling themselves the real IRA have taken it upon themselves to resume indiscriminate killings in the North of Ireland again. I am absolutely disgusted at this. . . . . .Have they not learned the lessons from the past ? This type of violence leads to no end. Nobody wins this type of war. All that they manage to do is make everybody feel uncomfortable and in the end thousands of innocent peoples lives get destroyed as has already happened. Nobody will be able to feel safe again and the tourism industry will diminish rapidly. The ironic thing is that in reality, if England turned around tomorrow and offered to give Northern Ireland to Ireland, the Irish government would have to turn down the offer. Ireland could not afford to own Northern Ireland. There are over 1.5 million people living there and the civil service is the largest employer. The Irish government could not afford to maintain such a hefty wage bill etc. Have these guys done any research lately. We really don't want the North, we can't actually afford it, but here's a little secret. If these guys really wanted to live in Ireland the door is always open, but not for cowardly murderers, they can go to hell.
These people are no different to the dissident Muslim fanatics who are waging a war of terror on the western world. They have no morals, no principles, no plan, no ideals and no clue as to what is important in life. The Muslims fanatics say they kill in the name of God. And these thugs in the Real IRA say they kill in the name of Nationalism. But there is no civil war in Northern Ireland. There is no Nationalist movement with a mandate. If there is where is the mandate ? And what is the mandate ? Is this just a plan to kill innocent people so as to make as many people uncomfortable as possible. If you say you want a united Ireland, we have a united Ireland. The evidence of the last 10 year period of peace in Northern Ireland has given us proof positive that we have a United Ireland. And Ireland that is as united as it ever has been. We are united in the resolution that WE WANT PEACE IN Northern Ireland.
I myself live in the South of Ireland and always have, but I consider Northern Ireland as a part of Ireland and can live with that. I know that there are many loyalists who live in the North who consider the North to be part of England. That's fine I can accept that. But for those of you who feel fit to go sneaking around in the darkness killing people indiscriminately in such a cowardly fashion. I say to you if you have something to say then say it, get it off your chest. And if you feel you have a war with the English then go ahead wage a war with Britain, but you won't get any support from anybody else in the whole country. Why ? Because the British are our neighbours. And they have been good neighbours and we have no right to go around killing them.
Should we be going around killing Germans for what they did in the second world war ? I don't think so. Should we be killing Americans for what they've done in many countries ? I doubt it Should we be killing the Chinese for all the pollution they are causing in the earths atmosphere ? I doubt it. Should we kill Australians because they speak english with a funny accent ? Hmmm well maybe.
The perpetrators of such cowardly crimes are of the lowest life forms on this planet. Spineless, gutless creatures full of malice and ill will toward everyone. Yet even if their most hated enemy was standing in front of these men, they would remain silent and not say a word to their faces. They'd be far too afraid to open their mouths. But to meet them in the dark and come up behind them and kill in cold blood. That's more like their style. They have no backbone, no substance, no resonence, they are just empty, bitter, indolent and full of resentment towards everyone. They call themselves the real IRA, but this is a such a falsehood of a name. They should just be honest and call themselves for what they really are. The Real Scumbags organisation, because that's all they are.
I know plenty of people from the North from both Protestant and Catholic backgrounds and all of them are so much happier since the peace has arrived and nobody wants a return to the way things were before. It's not good for quality of live and it's not good for business. England is our Neighbour and regardless of what the ancient English have done to our country and our ancestors, the modern day England is our neighbour and ally and has been of much benefit to our Nation and has been since our independance. I would go so far as to say that this dissident rebel organisation, being an enemy to England (our most erstwhile neighbour), is also an anemy to Ireland as their methods are a brazen affront to our ideals and our way of life.
In conclusion, this Real IRA group, being an enemy to Ireland needs to be destroyed and quickly. We need to seek them out from under the rocks they are hiding and in the holes that they are concealed in. We need to draw them out of their hiding places and destroy them before they compeltely destroy a portion of our society who have already suffered too much at the hands of such malignant forces. Let's go about and uncover their cowardly plots and shamefull plans to use and abuse the innocent and bully our families and loved ones and friends. And let us put a stop to this malignant nonesense once and for all, so that our Irish brothers in Northern Ireland can get back to living life in peace and in harmony with our erstwhile English neighbours. At the end of the day I consider the land in Northern Ireland to be Irish soil, but rented out to the English, because in reality they have had to pay the price for the priviledge of living there and still do. The sooner these scumbags calling themselves the Real IRA realise that the better.
